Who are we?
Our Pack is a group of 60+ families living in Claremont and surrounding cities. We enjoy the great outdoors, learning new skills, and serving our community.
What do we do?
Camping trips, Pinewood Derby, Picnics, Hikes, Arts and Crafts, Service projects, visiting local businesses, and age specific skills building such as map reading, knot tying, first aid, and more!
How often do you meet?
The scouting year typically coincides with the school year, starting in August/September and running until June.
Pack meetings – all the Dens in Pack 408 meet once per month for an activity that everyone participates in.
Den meetings – Scouts enrolled in the program typically meet twice per month at the Den level (dates, times and frequency are dependent on the individual den).
What is our mission, what are our values?
We are here to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Who can join Pack 408?
Students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. Cub Scouts is open to all children, boys and girls, in this age range.
What does it cost?
Fees for the 2025-2026 scouting year are $250 per scout. Fundraising opportunities are offered to remove the cost of fees in subsequent years.
